This project, managed by ASPIRENorth, aimed to market post-compulsory education to school pupils in the upper reaches of their secondary education. It did this through the professional production of DVDs featuring students from particular localities and institutions across the Forum area. The DVDs carry the message that post-compulsory education is an exciting and worthwhile opportunity. The DVDs are not intended to promote any particular institution, but are to promote the concept of post-compulsory education. The students are from specific regions within the North Forum:
The DVDs are used by ASPIRENorth as part of their scheduled activities with their schools and are also used more generally by guidance teachers and Careers Scotland staff.
The DVDs have been distributed to all schools and other relevant organisations across the North Forum area. If you’d like a copy, contact the ASPIRENorth team: details for this are on their website at http://www.scotland-aspirenorth.ac.uk/.
Area covered: The whole North Forum area
